Sequel Spiral™ Tampons are FDA 510(k) cleared and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. The tampon core is viscose rayon. The security veil is polyethylene and polyester, and the string is cotton and polyester. Sequel is synthetic dye free, elemental chlorine free, dioxin free, and fragrance free, with a BPA-free applicator.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent textile safety certification. Every component of the certified product is tested for harmful substances against the standard’s criteria.

You change your tampon at least every 4 to 8 hours. Always choose the lowest absorbency needed for your flow and follow the TSS information included with every box.

No — Sequel uses a compact BPA-free plastic applicator designed for comfortable insertion. Hold the outer tube of the applicator and pull the inner tube of the applicator back until you feel a natural stop. Insert the rounded tip of the applicator into the vaginal opening, point the applicator toward your lower back, and gently push the inner tube fully into the outer tube. Then remove and discard the applicator.

Choose the lowest absorbency needed for your flow. Regular is best for light-to-moderate flow days, while Super is designed for heavier flow days. If your flow changes throughout your period, our Combo pack includes 16 Regular and 16 Super tampons.
